About Envello
Envello is a subsidiary company of NIRSense, a medical device company founded in 2018 that was contracted by the Department of Defense to help protect the health of U.S. warfighters. The U.S. military needs reliable, durable, and mobile devices that can monitor -- and help prevent -- serious conditions including hemorrhage-related deaths and cognitive impairment in fighter pilots at high altitudes, in combat divers at deep depths, and on the battlefield in traumatic bleeding situations.
NIRSense has received over $28M in competitively awarded development contracts and continues to innovate in support of the unique needs of the U.S. government.
Envello is focused on the design, development, and commercialization of innovative scalable, non-invasive monitoring technologies with the potential to improve patient outcomes while reducing footprint and costs. Envello is initially focused on continuous monitoring of tissue oximetry in patients at risk of cardiovascular conditions including heart failure and ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI).
